PLANNING: reflection on the streaming company

My decision to use Discovery plus as my streaming company for my documentary "Is collagen worth the hype?" was very easy for me as I knew that it was best suited for the genre of my documentary as when I think of Discovery plus I think of health and educational documentaries. Discovery plus is one of the biggest platforms for documentaries and so it will give mine a chance of reaching the widest audience it can, compared to Netflix where my target audience wouldn't go onto Netflix to find a documentary about health and colllagen.

Is collagen worth the hype? documentary  -<< LINK   Reflection: I have never made a video like this, the experience was so interesting as I got to learn new editing techniques on Final Cut Pro and actually learn how to use it as it is very complex but I really enjoyed learning about the app. filming the interview was educational as I needed to decide where to place the camera, at what angle looked best, whether I wanted my interviewee looking into the camera or at me behind the camera, what lighting worked best and many more and this really excited me as I got to take charge and act really professional and produce my own work. The editing process was very long but again I did enjoy it as I was able to do anything I wanted so I could try out different sounds and different transitions.
