 I really enjoyed getting to take pictures for my magazine using a Nikon camera as it made me feel much more professional compared to when i used only my phone to take pictures for my perliminary task. I was able to go round Geneva taking good quality images of all the cool scenery.

  This is my second draft, i have added on the price of the magazine, i have also added a pin board and some pins with my images on to give it more of a scrapbook feel and maybe more appealing to my target audience, however to me i think this is a bit plain ad not very eyecathing for my traget audience so i have decided to do another draft for my front cover but with one central image that takes up the majority of the page and a big and bright masthead to also cath my target audiences attention.

 For my contents page i wanted to make it quite bright and nice to look at however my first draft came out quite plain.  This draft wasn’t finished but i knew before i had finished it that i didn’t like how boring it was and that i needed a different layout because i don't think that my target audience would be interested by it so i needed to change things around. I wanted my contents page to be much more organised than this to give an impression to my readers that they too can be organised when travelling. 

  Learning how to use photoshop properly was very exciting because it gave me an insight of what magazine companies use and advertisements use to make sure their pictures are perfect. I learnt that when a business is advertising their product for example headphones and they are in different colours, to reduce the job they don’t have to take individual shots for each colour they can just use photoshop to change the colour but no one would know that unless they worked somewhere that used it or played around with photoshop for fun which i think is very interesting.  We were given a few pictures to edit, one was a girl wearing headphones. For this one it was very fun to know how to be able to change the colour of the headphones so easily and make the picture my own. As well as the headphones we could also change the colour of her hair which was fun! This was the before: This was after:   I really dont think it is easy to see that the headphones have been edited
