Reflection on magazine advert. Throughout the process of creating my preliminary task I have learnt that I can easily remove the background from an image to create a cleaner look. I think this will really benefit me when making my magazine as I am able to adapt the background of an image if i wish to and through my research i learnt about the power of the mise-en-scene so this flexibility will be useful. I really enjoyed working on this project because I explored things I’ve never done before, for example to better prepare myself I analysed a magazine advert so I was more informed on what I had to add to my magazine advert so i found this helpful to do. It is what i have been doing for my research into covers, contents and double page spread so this has given me confidence to rely on my findings for my final products. I have updated my first draft i made for the magazine advert because my first one wasn't very orgonised and there wasn't much detail to it however, this draft is more alike to the idea i have in my head about the magazine advert and shows a more accurate representation of what my advert will look like.

this is my first mood board for my magazine and i was just exploring the colour scheme and fonts.

reflection: I enjoyed inventing my ideal magazine reader, it allowed me to reflct on my magazine and think more thourougly about what i will include in my magazine. For every decision i make involving my magazine i will think about if Frank will find it informative and helpful.

 

  Reflection: i found by analysing this magazine i was able to add more detail than i have when previously analysing magazines which clearly shows my progression with media studies as i am starting to understand different phrases and put more thought into it, howver i do think i have a lot more improving to do as i feel as though i could have written more. i would have never thought to add the audienece demographics.
